Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the heart of Licata's old town, Antica Dimora San Girolamo offers a charming escape, perfect for those yearning for tranquility amidst history and nature. The room, beautifully appointed with vintage decor, provided an extraordinary sense of character, enhanced by its airy, spacious layout and comfortable bed-a perfect haven after a day of exploration. The breakfast served in the picturesque piazza was a treat, featuring an impressive array of Sicilian pastries and fresh local produce, served by the attentive and friendly staff who made us feel truly welcome. I particularly enjoyed sipping my coffee while soaking in the surrounding historical architecture, a delightful touch to each morning. What stood out most was the proximity to local attractions, making it easy for my travel companions and me to discover everything the area has to offer, from the tranquil beaches to the vibrant town square. With amenities like free Wi-Fi and attentive service from Lavinia, our stay was both rejuvenating and seamlessly enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this gem for anyone looking to unwind and recharge while embracing the beauty of Sicily.
